Happy Holidays!! The Charlotte American Marketing Association is happy to feature an hour-long podcast with the father of Guerrilla Marketing, Jay Conrad Levinson. Jay's "Guerilla Marketing" books have sold 14 million copies worldwide. His guerrilla concepts have influenced marketing so much that today his books appear in 42 languages and are required reading in many MBA programs worldwide. Jay taught Guerrilla Marketing at the University of California in Berkeley. He also was a Senior Vice-President at J. Walter Thompson in the United States, and a Creative Director and Board Member at Leo Burnett Advertising in Europe. Jay has applied Guerrilla Marketing to several business situations and he has written a monthly column for Entrepreneur Magazine, articles for Inc. Magazine, as well as several online columns. Jay is the Chairman of Guerrilla Marketing International and founded The Guerilla Marketing Association, an on-line, interactive marketing support system for small businesses. Jay believes that Guerrilla Marketing is a way for business owners to spend less, get more, and achieve substantial profits. The Charlotte American Marketing Association's podcast is back after a summer hiatus! The August 2009 marketing podcast features an interview with author, former journalist and Non-Profit Marketing expert Katya Andresen. Andresen authored the book, Robin Hood Marketing: Stealing Corporate Savvy to Sell Just Causes.
